Suan Son Beach is about 10 kms South of Hua Hin Municipality. Located in a military camp (there usually is a small entrance fee of a few baht) it is a weekend getaway for Thai families. It gives you a glimpse of genuine Thai beach life away from mass tourism. The beach is very good for swimming, with fewer rocks than at Hua Hin beach.
